Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts and received a masters degree from the graduate school of the same Universtiy.

Her debut was in 2005 in Fujiwara Opera’s production of LA CENERENTOLA (Clorinda). She got a scholarship to study in Milan in the same year. She performed in various operas throughout Italy such as IL VIAGGIO A REIMS (Madame Cortese) at the Rossini Opera Festival, LA BOHEME and CARMEN.

 

After returning to Japan in 2009, she performed in Miramare Opera’s GIANNI SCHICCHI (Lauretta), Suntory Hall Opera Academy performance of IL SIGNOR BRUSCHINO (Sofia), Bunkyo Civic Opera’s LA TRAVIATA (Violetta) as well as solos in MESSIAH and BEETHOVEN 9TH SYMPHONY.

In March 2011, she performed the role of Rosina in THE BARBER OF SEVILLE in 3 cities in France.

 

In her hometown of Hachioji, she performs Japanese oldies and children’s songs in her recitals as a soloist. She also performs in Japanese operas such as HIGUCHI ICHIYO and CHIEKOSHO.

 

She also participates actively in grade school concerts and vocal workshops.

She is a participating artist of the Yokohama Art and Culture Education Platform School Program.

 

She is also a member of the Fujiwara Opera.

 

She performed the role of Philine in Japan Metropolitan Opera’s production of Ambroise Thomas’ MIGNON in September 2011.
